DMS¶

DMS is document management in the context of Rillsoft Integration Server. It is used to manage documents and folder structures centrally.

Typical Functions¶

• create documents

• read documents

• update documents

• delete documents

• restore documents

• manage folder structure

• assign documents to projects, subprojects, or activities

Usage¶

DMS is relevant when project documents must be stored centrally and controlled by permissions. Typical documents include drawings, offers, status reports, approvals, meeting minutes, and import/export files.

Permissions¶

Access to DMS functions is controlled by user roles and directory roles in Rillsoft Integration Server.
