Checklist: Check Project Before Planning Approval¶
Goal¶
Check whether a project is technically, schedule-wise, and resource-wise robust enough to be approved as a planning status.

Project Structure¶
Project name, customer, category, status, and priority are maintained.
Subprojects are meaningfully separated.
Tasks describe concrete work or deliverables.
Milestones mark important approvals or delivery dates.
Tasks that are too large were split into controllable units.

Scheduling Logic¶
Important tasks are linked.
Dependency types are technically plausible.
The critical path is understandable.
Float and reserve times are known.
Fixed dates are intentional and documented.
Resources and Effort¶
Resource demand is plausible for each task.
Professional qualifications are assigned correctly.
Direct employee assignments are intentional.
Capacity balancing was checked for scarce resources.
Non-working days and calendars are considered.
Approval¶
Open planning risks are documented.
The project manager and relevant resource owners checked the status.
A baseline was saved if needed.
