Expert Knowledge¶
This section brings together advanced topics that go beyond the quick start, normal task workflows, and pure reference pages. The articles explain concepts, operating decisions, and typical risks for organisations that use Rillsoft Project with several projects, several planners, a shared resource pool, or Rillsoft Integration Server.
Rillsoft Project is designed for realistic project planning under limited resources: schedules, professional qualifications, capacity balancing, multi-project planning, and project controlling belong together. The expert articles therefore focus on how these functions work as a managed planning system, not just as individual commands.
When Expert Knowledge Is Relevant¶
Use this section when:
several project planners work with the same projects, resources, or portfolios
file-based planning no longer provides reliable control over shared resource data
cross-project links, central permissions, project versions, or shared data storage are required
portfolio analysis must prepare decisions about priorities, capacity, and project feasibility
import, export, XML, DMS, templates, or optimisation are part of a controlled organisational process
Difference From Reference Content¶
The reference system describes functions, dialogs, options, and objects in a compact form. Expert knowledge explains when and why these functions are used, which prerequisites apply, and what organisational consequences follow.
