Link¶
A link describes the logical relationship between two activities. It controls when a successor activity may start or finish.
Link Types¶
Type |
Meaning |
|---|---|
Finish-Start |
The successor starts after the predecessor finishes. |
Start-Start |
The successor cannot start before the predecessor starts. |
Finish-Finish |
The successor cannot finish before the predecessor finishes. |
Start-Finish |
The successor cannot finish before the predecessor starts. |
Incompatible activity group |
Activities must not be performed at the same time. |
Time Intervals¶
Intervals can be positive or negative. Positive values create waiting time. Negative values allow overlap.
Usage¶
Links can be created and edited in the Gantt chart, network diagram, and Gantt-network chart.
